4-H Pygora Events
Caroline loves her goatie!
We Are Proud To Support The 4-H!
CAROLINE, SUSANNAH and AMELIA WIN!
Proud Mom shares: All three of my daughters did very well at the 2006 Washington County Fair, held in Canby, Oregon. Susannah (7 yrs old) won a rainbow ribbon for her hand-spun skein that she made on a drop spindle that she made with a CD and a stick. Amelia (10 yrs old) won a Champion ribbon for her hand dyed, hand knit hat. Caroline (12yrs old) won a Champion ribbon for her Navajo weaving and a Reserve ribbon for her hand knit felted bag. Then, Amelia won Champion wether and Caroline won Champion doe!

SMOKEY SUMMIT RANCH FAMILY 4-H CLUB
4-H news from Tonya DeMarco, of Carr, Colorado. "My daughter, Caitlin, put on her own Pygora Goat Show with our six 3 month olds, at Missouri Natural Colored Wool Growers Association Heart Of America Sheep and Wool Show, in Missouri. Tonya's felted Pygora slippers took first place in the felted wearables and overall Champion of the felting division in the fiber arts competion."

At Estes Park Wool Market, in Estes Park, Colorado, Caitlin and "Veruca" won 1st. place in the Obstacle Course. Caitlin and "Fluffy" took 2nd place in the Showmanship class.

Caleb S. 2005 Evergreen State Fair
The trophy winner for "Best of Breed Pygora" was Caleb S. "Great Job! Thanks Aline Bright, the 4-H Fiber Goats leader, for this information. The Champion trophy was sponsored by the Garrett Ranch.



KICKIN' KASHMERE 4-H GROUP
Katie H. wins Best of Show with her poster "People Pleasing Plants Poisonous To Pygora's", at the Stanwood Community Fair. She is a member of the Kickin' Kashmere 4-H Group in Woodinville, WA. The members have Cashmere and Pygora goats. Allene Beath is the
4-H leader.

Caleb and Greta Evergreen State Fair
The trophy winner for "Best of Breed Pygora" was "Greta", a 4 year old doe owned by Caleb. He is from Snohomish, WA. Thanks Leslie Moore, 4-H Fiber Goats, for the information. Trophy sponsor Garrett Ranch.

Andie at Evergreen State Fair 2003 ANGEL ANGORA GOATS 4-H CLUB, ARLINGTON, WASHINGTON
Evergreen State Fair trophy winner for "Best Pygora" was Andie N. with her yearling pygora doe, Rhea. This is Andie's second year showing at the fair. Congratulations Andie and Rhea! Trophy sponsored by the Garrett Ranch.
